The Legend Crosses

So I received this great honor to do a cross for a friend that had someone pass away in her family. These always mean the world to me because it is a constant reminder of that person. Whenever you see any token that you have meant for them, you think of that person and it just brings back all the feelings you had for them. Being able to reflect about who that person affected your life or the lives around you is a wonderful things, so ..... If you are on the fence about purchasing one------- DO IT! You won't regret it!

To purchase these, see the sidebar (that thing on the right)

Packed to Peaceful

I got the wonderful opportunity to work on this room by Dr. Baiocco.
She wanted to have an office, craft and sewing space, book storage, and to relax.
The wishlist was long but I think we were able to pull it off BEAUTIFULLY!
This was her space before
It had butter yellow walls and everything was just shoved to deal with later.

This is the after! She loved how big and bright the room felt.

This is facing the other direction towards the entrance.
She had these amazing little cubbies that weren't being utilized to their full potential.

Now those cubbies have a purpose.

She started to create some useful storage for her craft space, but the wire shelves just weren't working.

Here we created her sewing/craft space as well as her book storage.

We were able to utilize a bunch of pieces and furniture she already had, they just needed a face lift.

This cute little table was beat up with broken glass, broken door, and just wear and tear.

With a little patience and some elbow grease we were able to bring it back to life.
It is now a lovely display cabinet that

This cutie I found at our local Habitat store. The finials were broken on one and it needed some attention.

But now they are the focal piece above her craft and sewing table.
They display just some of her amazing collection of doll house furnishings

 The desk..... oooh the desk!

This desk was the best piece of the entire room. It started out as this lovely pink with white polka dots, but the bones were fantastic!

I love that this has now become the centerpiece for the room.
This is a true story of trash to treasure!

This fireplace is also one of my favorite pieces.

She kept saying she wanted a fireplace, and my response was always no.
I wanted there to be a huge surprise and I knew how much it would mean to her to be able to give her that fireplace she always dreamed of.
This beauty isn't very pretty, but it has potential.

Now it became a beautiful focal point and a cozy seating area for her to sit, relax, and enjoy
All it needed was a cozy chair and little table.
I hope you enjoyed our French Country Room!
